Intern Program Details
- Paid Internship
- Full time / 10 weeks
- Position will be based out of our Irving, TX location
- The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching
- Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to understand project requirements and contribute to technical design discussions
- Write, test, and debug clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python)
- Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications, features, and tools
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and learning from peers
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Learn and apply new technologies, development methodologies, and best practices
- Engage in team meetings, stand-ups, and other collaborative activities
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Expected graduation date of Fall 2027, Spring 2028, Fall 2028 or Spring 2029
- Solid understanding of fundamental computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Prior internship experience or personal projects demonstrating software development aptitude is a plus
