Software Development Engineer SR -Full Stack Java/React

The Software Development Engineer SR - Full Stack Java/React is responsible for designing and developing scalable enterprise applications. This role requires strong full-stack engineering experience, particularly in Java and React, and a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.

This position involves working on the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to deployment and optimization. Collaboration with global engineering teams is key, as is the ability to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications.
• Participate in all phases of agile software development, including solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing application improvement.
• Design and develop API-first systems, collaborating with business stakeholders, functional experts, and engineering teams.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Node.js, messaging frameworks such as Kafka, and modern cloud-based architectures.
• Develop user-facing applications and components using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Create scalable, distributed, event-driven applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with global teams through development tools, documentation, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Ensure application quality through effective debugging, optimization, testing practices, observability, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical design decisions, architecture improvements, and continuous enhancement of development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in full-stack Java and React development.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, SaaS platforms, and enterprise application development.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems and event-driven applications.
• Strong experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, streaming APIs, and messaging frameworks.
• Proficiency with Java, React, Node.js, Kafka, databases, API gateways, and modern development frameworks.
• Familiarity with security, compliance standards, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with application performance tuning, debugging, logging, and observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, Git, Maven, Azure DevOps, and scripting tools.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, API standards, and code quality tools.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in mortgage, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries is a plus.
