Software Development Engineer Senior

Position reports to company headquarters in Englewood, CO. Telecommuting is permitted 100%.

About the role

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable software solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain web applications using Angular, Node.js, C#, MVC, Dotnet Core, and CSS.
• Work with project owners to complete issues on time.
• Collaborate with the deployment team to move code into production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in applications.
• Analyze technical requirements involved in the implementation of new features or modification of existing features.
• Assess functional and technical requirements and suggest feasible alternatives.
• Estimate the time required to complete the work.
• Submit the results of technical analysis to the Director of Web Development.
• Mentor and assist junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience in a related occupation.
• Experience with AWS, Lambda, and ASP.Net Core.
• Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5, and third-party libraries including Angular, jQuery/Mobile, and LESS.
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Experience with MS-SQL Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with CSS, HTML, and Responsive CSS.
• Experience with cloud services including Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with front-end debugging tools and procedures.
• Experience with web services including Restful, WCF, ASP.NET Web API, and SOAP.
• Experience with Mercurial and Git.
• Experience with UI/UX and basic prototype design.
• Experience with Nginx servers and a background in Linux.

Pay

$120,536 - $151,635.87 per year.
