Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize core components of the Amazon Quick platform.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-powered enterprise solutions.
• Collaborate with AI/ML practitioners, applied scientists, and solution architects to build groundbreaking technologies.
• Lead the architecture and design of new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Pay

Base salary ranges:

• Bellevue, WA: $168,100 - $227,400 USD annually
• Seattle, WA: $168,100 - $227,400 USD annually

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
