Software Development Engineer II, Fire TV

We're expanding our Live TV engineering team to build the next generation of television experiences that combine traditional broadcasting and streaming technology. Our team builds and owns critical components that power live television viewing across all Fire TV devices. Responsibilities

• Design and implement products that enable video service partners (Prime Video Channels, IMDb TV, Twitch, etc) to surface & promote content as part of the 'Live TV' integrated experience.
• Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications.
• Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment.
• Drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon’s long-term vision, which includes rapid innovation in building better voice interfaces to the media and entertainment content that Fire TV customers love!

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Qualifications

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
