Software Development Engineer II, AWS EKS, AWS EKS
About the role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDEII) to join the management plane and insights team responsible for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) availability and resiliency, AWS service integrations, and cluster insights across the entire fleet. This team owns the services that generate cluster insights at massive scale, handling millions of events per second across one of the world's largest managed Kubernetes fleets. We also own EKS zonal shift, including Kubernetes control plane integration with AWS Application Recovery Controller (ARC). When an Availability Zone goes unhealthy, our services shift traffic to healthy zones automatically with no customer action required.
