This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least five days per week. Relocation and housing assistance is not available for this position. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time. Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, debugs, modifies, and tests software applications using C#/C++ and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Methodologies.
  • Documents software development by writing documents, reports, memos and change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.
  • Tracks software development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved software version control system.
  • Solves engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions.
  • Participates in design and code reviews.
  • Creates or assists in creating specifications and qualifications required by the FDA.
  • Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (must graduate by December 2026).
  • Prior Boston Scientific R&D Engineering internship experience.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in CSCI field.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming and Windows Application Development.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing in C# and developing WPF Applications.
  • Experience with developing software within the medical device industry.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $71,500
Maximum Salary: $135,800

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com – will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
