About the role

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to tackle complex problems and drive innovation within the Creative Building team. This team is part of the CreativeX organization, focused on democratizing access to high-quality creatives. The SDE will own products end to end and influence technology that impacts millions of customers globally. The role requires a hands-on approach to improve efficiency and customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Break down and solve complex problems in software development
  • Own products end to end and influence product and technology direction
  • Balance trade-offs between competing interests while producing optimal solutions
  • Thrive in a fast-moving team environment managing complex dependencies and requirements
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of new and existing systems

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Pay

$158,100 - $213,800 per year
