About the role

Join the Amazon Athena team in AWS to innovate and transform how customers analyze their data. Develop innovative capabilities from the ground up, working with senior and principal engineers who are domain experts at AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy strategic technical projects
• Deliver large-scale, high-performance production systems
• Design new software systems of distributed technology
• Have a significant bottom-line impact on business results
• Mentor engineers and complete hands-on technical work
• Provide leadership on complex technical issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Qualifications

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
