Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices
- Develop and maintain high-performance Java and Spring Boot applications
- Create and optimize APIs focusing on system reliability
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies
- Develop asynchronous communication systems
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions
- Work with relational and non-relational databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
- Keep current with emerging technologies and coding best practices
- Adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable code
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
- Knowledge of API design and asynchronous streaming
- Experience in production support and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment practices
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and AWS Kiro
- Basic understanding of React frontend applications is preferred
