Software Development Engineer
Job Duties
- Turn requirements in to deployment-quality code
- Implement microservices process and serve near-real-time data to web-based clients
- Consume and visualize JSON data exposed by the back-end team
- Docker-based application deployment
- Utilize CI/CD and configuration management best practices
- Participate in code reviews
- Participate in architectural discussions and influence technical decisions
- Participate in code reviews
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to accomplish project objectives
- Participate in Agile meetings and activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience And Skills
- BS or MS Degree in CS, CE, or EE with software design, engineering and development skills, including familiarity with modern software development practices and tools
- Requires 5-7 years of software development experience
- Proficiency developing with C/C++ and/or Java
- Proficiency with git
- Team player and capable of working in a fast-pasted, team environment
- Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Socket.io
- Experience with Material UI
- Experience with D3.js
Pay
The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000
