About the role

Help us make the most of exabytes of security data by building and operating services that power Amazon's security.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement solutions that address security challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security practices and technologies within Amazon.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Qualifications

  • Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Skills

  • Experience with C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually.
