About the role

The Amazon Music Library Service Primitives team is seeking a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented backend Software Development Engineer to help reimagine the library primitives and experiences for customers. This role involves creating new scalable systems to manage diverse customer features and delivering content seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable systems to manage customer features
• Solve for an optimally engaging music experience by delivering content seamlessly
• Empower customers to share their music with friends through easy and intuitive interactions
• Work with a team of high-caliber engineers to develop new systems
• Experiment to optimize the music experience for customers

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff
• Adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service
