About the role

A day in the life at Amazon Security AFSS involves building foundational access management capabilities for all of Amazon’s digital and physical resources. The team focuses on protecting customer and corporate data while being connected to various parts of Amazon's business.

Responsibilities

• Build highly scalable and reliable systems in the cloud
• Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures align with business objectives
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security policies and procedures
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Qualifications

• Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Skills

• Experience with cloud-based security solutions
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Understanding of network security principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually.
