About the role

Amazon WorkSpaces is a managed desktop computing service in the cloud, allowing customers to provision cloud-based desktops for end-users. Users can access documents, applications, and resources from any device, including laptops, iPads, Kindle Fire, Android tablets, and zero clients. With a few clicks in the AWS Management Console, customers can deploy high-quality cloud desktops (Windows or Linux) at a cost that is competitive with traditional desktops and half the cost of most virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical problems associated with providing secure, reliable, fast, and highly scalable solutions while working on industry-leading AWS services. Our team is innovating in multiple areas to deliver the best interactive streaming platform for AWS Enterprise and ISV customers.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into complex technical problems, driving incremental system optimizations and raising the bar for operational excellence and development practices.

• Contribute to the development of Agentic WorkSpaces - Application Streaming.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for new and existing systems.
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.

Pay

Base salary range: $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually (USA, WA, Seattle). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
