Software Development Engineer, Advengers - Amazon Ads Brand & Video

This is your chance to help build a billion-dollar business, innovate on AI-powered advertiser workflows, and positively impact millions of ad experiences — all while working with industry-leading technologies. You will own the design and delivery of an AI-first campaign creation system powered by Performance+ and Brand+ tactics for omni-channel ad buying across video, audio, and display. You will work on a mix of established and greenfield projects — updating our architecture to scale 10X for the future while advancing our AI Performance+ and Brand+ Tactics to solve more interesting problems for customers globally. You will also work on creatives backend services to support AI-first omni-channel campaigns across video, audio, and display.

Responsibilities

• Deliver working features spanning the full software lifecycle, including working backwards from customers, software design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, data science, and partner teams.
• Demonstrate operational excellence in all of your work. Actively support operational needs for your team and ensure root causes of operational issues are identified and resolved.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve your team’s operations.
• Participate actively in the code review process, providing meaningful feedback to others, including those who are more senior.

We collect campaign goals, surface relevant data at key decision points, and provide reporting that validates decision-making. Our product suite guides traders in building campaigns with optimal targeting, creative formats, inventory, and bid models that are highly likely to hit their goals — reducing the need for manual intervention.

• Performance+ and Brand+ tactics user experience
• Eligibility determination and recommendations generation

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 2+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 1+ years of Object-Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Pay

USA, NY, New York - $158,100.00 - $213,800.00 USD annually
