Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong front end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework. This role will support the design, development, and enhancement of web based applications used in secure government environments. Experience building user friendly interfaces, supporting application functionality, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with teams that support cybersecurity, compliance, or authorization workflows is required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field
  • Experience developing applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Understanding of front end development concepts, responsive design, and browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework processes and cybersecurity compliance concepts
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience troubleshooting application issues and supporting production systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to support secure systems, documentation, and compliance driven workflows
  • IAT Level II or willing to obtain within 6 months

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53, authorization packages, controls, POA&M tracking, or assessment workflows
  • Experience with ServiceNow, GRC, IRM, CAM, or similar compliance platforms
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, or backend integration concepts
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
