Software Developer: Optics and Electromagnetic Modeling for Lithography

Responsibilities

  • Simulate and theoretically analyze electromagnetic and optical physics applicable to lithography modeling
  • Understand enhancement requests and bugs and discuss solutions with the team
  • Implement production ready software in C++
  • Document new software in functional specifications
  • Perform detailed, quantitative analysis of performance and quality of the software

Requirements

  • Must be able to understand electromagnetic and optical physics and how it applies to practical lithography modeling
  • Must be able to implement object oriented software in C++
  • Must be able to analyze data in Matlab or Python
  • Must be comfortable working in Linux and using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Power Point, and Outlook)

Qualifications

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically with lithography and optical proximity correction software
  • BSEE, MSEE/ MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field

Skills

  • Understanding of electromagnetic and optical physics
  • Object oriented software development in C++
  • Data analysis in Matlab or Python
  • Linux and Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
