Responsibilities
- Simulate and theoretically analyze electromagnetic and optical physics applicable to lithography modeling
- Understand enhancement requests and bugs and discuss solutions with the team
- Implement production ready software in C++
- Document new software in functional specifications
- Perform detailed, quantitative analysis of performance and quality of the software
Requirements
- Must be able to understand electromagnetic and optical physics and how it applies to practical lithography modeling
- Must be able to implement object oriented software in C++
- Must be able to analyze data in Matlab or Python
- Must be comfortable working in Linux and using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
Qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically with lithography and optical proximity correction software
- BSEE, MSEE/ MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
Skills
- Understanding of electromagnetic and optical physics
- Object oriented software development in C++
- Data analysis in Matlab or Python
- Linux and Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
