About the role
We are looking for a software developer to join our team designing, implementing, and supporting the models and simulator for the Calibre Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) and Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) tools. This position reports to the Calibre OPC and RET Modeling R&D Director.
Responsibilities
- Simulate and theoretically analyze electromagnetic and optical physics applicable to lithography modeling
- Understand enhancement requests and bugs and discuss solutions with the team
- Implement production-ready software in C++
- Document new software in functional specifications
- Perform detailed, quantitative analysis of performance and quality of the software
Requirements
- Understand electromagnetic and optical physics and how it applies to practical lithography modeling
- Implement object-oriented software in C++
- Analyze data in Matlab or Python
- Work comfortably in Linux and with Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Compile information into clear documents or slides and present to peers and management
Qualifications
- BSEE, MSEE/MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field (required)
- Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically with lithography and optical proximity correction software (nice to have)
Location
This position may be located in Wilsonville, OR or Fremont, CA.
