Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Test Engineer to join our Software Test Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and cases for complex software systems, ensuring high-quality product releases and contributing to the overall success of Augusta Life Sciences US OpCo I LLC.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implementation, and maintenance of robust test strategies, test plans, and test cases for various software applications and features.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and thoroughly document findings.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test scope, and ensure testability of features.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements review, design discussions, and release activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, testing trends, and best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, plus a minimum of 6 years of software testing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation tools such as – Robot, Selenium, Cucumber, TestComplete.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages - preferably C# and PYTHON
  • Experience testing web applications or product testing with knowledge on API and DB testing, perform API validations and be able to create SQL script
  • Experience with Defect Tracking Tools, Requirement Management and Test Management Tools such as TFS, ADO, HP OpenText ALM, Cognition Cockpit
  • Generate and analyze Test related metrics using the data from the defect management systems
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, introduce and improve new and existing test practice and process
  • Effectiveness of understanding and communicating technical information and ability to translate information between technical and business languages
  • Experience with complete software product development life cycle from concept to final release is expected
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills, ability to clearly and precisely communicate with management and remote team members

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred, plus 4+ years of software testing experience
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations for medical instruments, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 standards and Quality Management Systems
  • Experience working in the regulated medical industry
  • ISTQB or equivalent certificate in Software Testing or Software Automation Testing
