Software Developer II
About the role
Vernovis is looking for a Software Developer II that will have hands-on .NET development experience responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications that enable critical business operations against our client’s organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into scalable .NET-based solutions.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs, system integrations, and backend services that support critical business applications and data workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and production support issues by analyzing code, data, and system performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing application support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on development experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, developing service-based architectures, and integrating enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and data-driven application development.
- Experience with modern development tools and practices including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps/TFS, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work directly with business partners and technical teams to deliver solutions.
