About the role
E-Logic is seeking an Advanced Software Developer to support a proposed U.S. Navy/DoD software engineering initiative.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions by applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update and enhance existing software capabilities.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Support database development and maintenance within application areas, either independently or as part of a development team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) systems.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Equivalent qualifying substitution based on experience and certifications, as applicable.
Skills
- Strong experience in software design, development, integration, and maintenance of complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience supporting DoD environments.

- Primary Location: NAWCAD WOLF, St. Inigoes, Maryland (Southern Maryland, near Patuxent River).
- Work Split: Approximately 51% at Government sites (NAWCAD WOLF, St. Inigoes, MD) and approximately 49% at Contractor facility.
- Work Arrangement: Most positions are eligible for Routine Telework. Full remote work is not the standard; significant on-site presence at WOLF is required to ensure effective collaboration, integration, and mission support.
