Software Developer

About the role

Bridge business needs with the technology that enables them. As DP World launches its new facility in Rialto, CA, we’re looking for a Software Developer to support the design and delivery of IT solutions that drive operational success.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the full software development lifecycle of a global Progress OpenEdge application
• Produce high-quality software solutions within time and budget
• Provide support of existing applications to an agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Work within a global team and focus on continuous improvement and learning
• Create innovative solutions to problems
• Facilitate and support onsite deployments of major projects
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Progress/OpenEdge Software Development experience delivering solutions in a commercial environment
• Degree/Third level qualification in IT or equivalent experience
• Understanding of relational database concepts
• Working knowledge of Unix / Linux Operating System and commands
• Experience in API integration e.g. REST/JSON and Angular is a benefit
• Able to code to standards and take direction as to general coding method
• Ability to see the bigger picture and understand a global application focus

• Starting salary range based on job level and experience - estimated starting salary for Career level is $100,800-$123,200; Senior level is $122,040-$149,160.
