About the role

Bespoke Technologies is seeking a DevOps-focused software engineer to support the enterprise language services team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement the project's Kubernetes-based infrastructure and applications
• Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes-based applications
• Create and manage Helm charts for simplified application deployment
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform
• Automate tasks and processes using Bash scripting
• Work with AWS services and architecture
• Monitor, log, and alert using systems like Prometheus/Grafana
• Use ArgoCD for automated deployment pipelines
• Manage scalable Kubernetes workloads using KEDA
• Administer Elasticsearch for search, logging, or analytics
• Administer PostgreSQL databases
• Develop in Node.js and TypeScript
• Work with Angular framework

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management
• Knowledge of Helm charts for simplifying application deployment of Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, with the ability to automate tasks and processes

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• A deep understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies
• Experience with ArgoCD for automating deployment pipelines
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems like Prometheus/Grafana
• Familiarity with KEDA for scalable Kubernetes workloads
• Elasticsearch expertise for search, logging, or analytics use cases
• PostgreSQL database administration skills
• Node.js and TypeScript development experience
• Angular framework knowledge
