This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. As a net new line of business, it operates with an entrepreneurial spirit in an energetic and creative environment. We seek hands-on Member of Technical Staff Engineers who share our passion for operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will contribute to disrupting the healthcare industry and help deliver better patient care by designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services. Responsibilities
- Lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support the healthcare platform, applications, and end users.
- Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems.
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
- Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet evolving needs.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems.
- Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality code in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks such as Helidon, Dropwizard, Spring, etc.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design artifacts.

Pay
Hiring range in USD: $79,100 – $166,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
