Software Dev Engineer :: Nashville, TN (onsite 5 days a week)

Location: Nashville, TN (onsite 5 days a week). W2 full-time position. Open to all candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S.; U.S. citizens or green-card holders preferred.

About the role

You will act as first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Your solutions will directly impact our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop monitoring solutions for internally developed applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for code (Perl, C/C++, Java).
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
• Improve systems that gather metrics on features.
• Update, track, and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in Perl, C/C++, and/or Java.
• Experience with Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, and UNIX/LINUX is desired.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
