Development Coordinator (Nashville, TN)

About the role

Within the Fund Development division, based in Nashville, TN, the Development Coordinator builds and maintains masjid, business, donor, and community relationships that advance IDEA’s mission and Fund Development goals. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Development Coordinator manages an assigned portfolio, secures fundraising and outreach opportunities, supports regional events and campaigns, and represents IDEA throughout the assigned area. The role works closely with regional staff, volunteers, community partners, and cross-functional departments to strengthen donor engagement and expand IDEA’s regional presence. The candidate must show commitment to IDEA’s faith-inspired values and principles, as well as the vision and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with donors, masajid, businesses, community institutions, volunteers, and the general public throughout the assigned area.
• Strengthen relationships with existing masajid and identify opportunities to establish relationships with new masajid and communities.
