Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal claims managers, permit expeditors, and construction project managers to ensure efficient, effective job completion and client communication.
- Provide internal updates to upper management, the Director of Construction, and project managers.
- Work closely with occupants, property owners, adjusters, subcontractors, and all interested parties throughout the reconstruction process, including daily updates and calls, to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Support the client's team, including project managers, construction managers, and designers.
- Cookordination with architects and engineers for timely and accurate responses to requests for information (RFIs).
Position Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of business, construction, or reconstruction experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Microsoft Project, is essential.
- An excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with a proactive, can-do attitude, are necessary.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
- Prior experience in reconstruction is required.
- Must be able to work in person at our office 5 days per week and able to travel to job sites as needed.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and able to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based work in a climate-controlled environment, with travel to job sites as needed.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Frequent talking and hearing for phone and in-person communication.
- Closed visual acuity for reading documents, plans, and computer screens.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and filing.
- Periodic walking of active job sites, which may include uneven surfaces, stairs, and exposure to dust and noise.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of files, plans, or supplies up to 25 pounds.
