Software Delivery Manager - Wide Area Monitoring System (WAMS) Remote Option

About the role

The Delivery Manager will oversee the project Software Delivery, focusing on technical delivery and execution. They will deploy enterprise software, manage and coordinate software deployment, configuration, and operational testing, and optimize the deployment process.

Responsibilities

• Deploying enterprise software
• Working within a highly skilled team to manage and execute software deployment, configuration, and operational testing
• Identifying and quickly resolving software and related IT issues within a deployment project
• Optimizing the deployment process, working with the DevOps teams
• Managing and coordinating effective software delivery
• Network & Links: Internal - Operations, Product Development, Tendering and Maintenance & Support; External - Customers, Partners
• End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost, and quality commitments
• Performing and managing the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven 5 years of experience in Services)
• Ideal subjects: Computer Science, IT Networking, Software Development
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Services – delivering Enterprise Software
• Desired Characteristics: 5 years of experience in software delivery organization, with operation (project delivery) background; Strong background in integration aspects related to computer systems; Experience of Kubernetes and microservice architecture; Industry knowledge in the field of operation and multi sites project organizations; Process and methodology oriented; Highly collaborative and able to work across the organization to accomplish common goals; Driving change
