We are seeking talented software programmers for exciting internship opportunities. These positions are available to self-motivated and creative students near completing their master's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Study hardware and software trade-offs present in the latest version of our chips
  • Explore uses of both hardware and software to solve real-world problems
  • Develop software models of important behaviors in hardware co-processors such as memory bandwidth and pipeline latency
  • Develop visualization tools to illustrate architecture behavior
  • Create support tools to enable software to make efficient use of hardware co-processors
  • Present findings and allow other team members to use their work for ongoing projects

Requirements

  • Experience in modern programming languages such as C++, C, Python, Perl, and assembly
  • Exposure to common neural networks frameworks such as Caffe or TensorFlow is helpful
  • Ability to pick up missing skills quickly
  • Deliver assignments on time
  • Presentation skills to describe findings and share work with the team

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in computer architecture, VLSI design, image processing, video compression, and computer vision.

Skills

  • Modern programming languages (C++, C, Python, Perl, assembly)
  • Exposure to neural networks frameworks (Caffe, TensorFlow)
  • Quick learning ability
