Software Architect

About the role

Upgrades to Microsoft .Net framework, modification to existing functionality, upgrading existing databases to supported databases, re-platforming of applications to new servers and any design changes for that.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, troubleshoot .Net application Automated Builds and Deployment with TFS, IIS web apps, Security – Authentication and Authorization
• Make software and system design recommendations for existing and proposed applications
• Develop several enhancements utilizing MVC and Entity Framework
• Identify and correct performance issues in web applications
• Mentor system development team
• Assistance in development of software/hardware requirements for Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a closely related field, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S equivalent of a bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects
