Software Application Developer

Job Duties

• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning to define scope and priorities
• Daily Stand-Ups to provide progress updates and identify blockers
• Sprint Reviews to demo completed work and gather stakeholder feedback
• Sprint Retrospectives to evaluate team processes and propose improvements
• Backlog Refinement sessions to clarify requirements and ensure stories are ready for future sprints
• Execute project development tasks by creating clear, user-centered wireframes and translating them into high-quality, maintainable code aligned with established standards, architecture, and project timelines
• Conduct thorough peer code reviews to ensure accuracy, maintainability, and adherence to best practices, while offering constructive feedback that supports team learning and code quality
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) on UX development

Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
• Required Skills: HTML 5/JavaScript/CSS coding experience, Vue programming skills experience, RESTful API design and integration experience
• Required Clearances: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance on first day of employment with the ability to obtain a poly
• Desired Skills: Docker and containerization experience, Kubernetes experience, MSSQL/PostgreSQL development experience, Conducting SonarQube scans and evaluations, Use of DevSecOps processes and components (Git), Experience with STOMP WebSocket, Data Validation Frameworks, Vite and modern frontend build tools
