About the role

A Soft Count Clerk is responsible for accurately counting and recording currency from various gaming sources within the casino in a secure and regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the counting, sorting, and recording of currency from slot machines and other gaming sources.
• Utilize specialized equipment to ensure accurate and efficient soft count processes.
• Adhere to strict security and confidentiality protocols.
• Record and document all counts accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Reconcile discrepancies and report any irregularities promptly.
• Ensure strict adherence to all internal controls and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in soft count operations or a similar financial role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

USD $13.00 - USD $15.00 per hour. This is a non-tipped position.
