About the role
The Count Team Clerk ensures funds from Table Games, Slot bill validator drops, and other revenue centers are properly accounted for according to Nevada Gaming Control Regulations. This role also involves the proper removal of drop boxes from designated slot sections and delivering high-level professional and personalized guest service aligned with the Company’s core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity).
Responsibilities
- Opening Drop Boxes: Remove a box from cart, unlock it, and remove all contents. Verify the empty box with another team member and camera. Ensure the top slot remains open with the latch in place, lock the contents door, and place the empty box back on the cart. Assist in sorting cash and chips, stack bills, and remove documents. Repeat until all drop boxes are opened and accounted for.
- Recorder: Record counts of promotional chips, foreign chips, and vouchers. Place documents from the drop box in a Plexiglas bin for the computer operator and place cash, chips, and voucher counts in bins for the machine operator.
- Machine Operator: Run cash through the currency counter, manually add chip totals into the counter, end each batch, and staple the receipt to the sheet with chip and voucher counts. Provide all receipts to the computer operator.
- Drop Team: Remove full drop boxes from slot machines and replace them with empty boxes.
- Bill Validator Count: Perform duties similar to Table Games but without paperwork or chips.
- Post-Count Verification: Verify the overall count for accuracy, load drop into the transport cart, and call the Cage for transfer.
- Ticket Redemption Machine (TRM) Drop: Remove all funds from the TRM, replenish with new cassettes, and fill with coin to preset amounts.
- TRM Count: Individually count and record all funds from TRMs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent and articulate in English.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and cohesively while producing quality results.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division specific to position responsibilities.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Effective communication with guests, employees, and management in English.
- Ability to complete standard forms and reports.
- Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in Bally’s CMP and SDS programs.
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
- Minimum age of 21.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience is preferred but not required.
