SOF Project Manager
About the role
The organization is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of an enterprise Identity Access Management (IAM) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solution. The role will manage the full project lifecycle, including discovery, design, implementation, and pilot deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for IAM/MFA implementation initiatives.
- Establish project governance, charter, and detailed project plans.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting (RAID).
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and current-state assessments across authentication systems.
- Develop requirements traceability and integration planning documentation.
- Oversee solution design, including authentication workflows, policies, and security models.
- Cook up pilot program planning, deployment, and validation efforts.
- Drive user onboarding, testing, and acceptance criteria validation.
- Produce status reports, risk logs, and pilot outcome documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading enterprise IT initiatives.
- 5+ years managing project responsibilities such as planning, scheduling, and risk/issue management (RAID).
- Proven experience delivering IAM, MFA, or identity/security-related projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with public sector or state government environments.
- Familiarity with identity security frameworks (AAL2, AAL3).
- Background in IAM architecture, integrations, or security programs.
