Sod Stacker

About the role

A. Duda and Sons, Inc. is seeking full-time hourly Sod Stackers for their Sod Farm located in Viera, Florida. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, rolling, and sharpening blades
• Repairing pallets
• Forklift operation
• Tractor driving
• General upkeep of the shop area

Sod harvesting and work hours may vary based on demand and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Pay: $1 per pallet in addition to hourly wage
• Average pallets per day: approximately 75
• Tractor driving skills preferred but not required
• Age requirement: 18 years or older
