About the role
A. Duda and Sons, Inc. is seeking full-time hourly Sod Stackers for their Sod Farm located in Viera, Florida. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, rolling, and sharpening blades
- Repairing pallets
- Forklift operation
- Tractor driving
- General upkeep of the shop area
Sod harvesting and work hours may vary based on demand and weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Pay: $1 per pallet in addition to hourly wage
- Average pallets per day: approximately 75
- Tractor driving skills preferred but not required
- Age requirement: 18 years or older
