Social Worker - Social Services Team (Huddersfield Royal Infirmary)

Responsibilities

• Working with adults and carers to deliver Self-Directed support and Self-Assessment
• Safeguarding, adopting a positive approach to risk
• Facilitating timely and safe discharges from hospital
• Helping people remain independent for longer and have choice and control
• Delivering the outcomes of personalisation

Requirements

• Looking to appoint as a Level 2 or Level 3 Social Worker
• 5 over 7 day contract with weekend working required for approximately 1 in 7 weekends
• This job is based at the Hospital Team, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Acre Street, Lindley, Huddersfield, HD3 3EA but you may be required to work at other locations as and when required

Qualifications

• This job is subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level

Pay

• Grade 10 - 11
• £38,220 - £44,075
• 1.81% enhancement for working weekends via rota

Schedule

• 37 hours per week
• 5 over 7 day contract
• Weekend working required for approximately 1 in 7 weekends
