About the role
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Social Worker (MSW) for Case Management at Newton Medical Center. This position works 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, including one weekend every four weeks.
Responsibilities
- Discharge planning from an acute care hospital
- Supportive and therapeutic counseling
Requirements
- MSW and active LSW from NJ
- Minimum 1-year experience in a medical setting (acute care hospital) or 1-year externship
- Available to commit to 2–3 days per week during the first 4–6 weeks for onboarding
- Must work every other weekend
Departmental hours are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with some flexibility.

Pay
Hourly rate: $34.82 – $61.26
