Job Summary

Reporting to the Social Work Supervisor, the Clinical Social Worker provides direct and indirect social work services to patients and families. Minimum Qualifications include a Masters in Social Work from an accredited school of social work, hospital experience, knowledge of psycho-social implications of illness and disease on individual and family systems, LCSW or LICSW licensure/certification, knowledge of medical terminology, ability to work in a team framework, critical thinking skills, organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and computer skills.

Requirements

• Masters in Social Work from an accredited school of social work
• Hospital experience required
• Knowledge of psycho-social implications of illness and disease on individual and family systems
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred
• Knowledge of Medical terminology
• Ability to work in a team framework
• Critical thinking skills
• Organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Computer skills required
• Must be able to maintain confidential information
