We’re hiring a compassionate and knowledgeable leader who supports residents and families through the emotional and psychosocial aspects of aging and dementia. You’re a social worker with a heart for service and a deep understanding of memory care. You thrive in emotionally complex situations, advocate for residents and families, and collaborate across departments to enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Support residents and families in understanding and coping with the psychosocial challenges of aging and dementia
- Promote the community to civic and memory impairment-related groups, reflecting Silverado’s mission and quality of care
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations of team members under your supervision
- Maintain continuing education through academic studies, seminars, and workshops
- Participate in in-services, staff meetings, and case conferences
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with older adults
- Experience supporting individuals with memory impairment and their families highly desirable
- Professional or volunteer experience with memory impairment organizations helpful
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and outreach needs
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets
- May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs

Pay
Anticipated pay range: $85,000 USD - $95,000 USD
