Scope of Position
Social work services include psychosocial assessments, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, financial counseling, discharge planning, health education and the provision of material resources and linkage with community agencies.
Core Competencies
- Pychosocial assessment, counseling and crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of the PASAAR process for extended care facility placement
- Skills assessing neglect/abuse, including substance abuse and domestic violence
Minimum Qualifications
- Master of Social Work from an accredited Graduate School of Social Work
- State of Ohio Social Work licensure (LSW or LISW) or equivalent educational experience
