Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

About the role

The successful candidate will provide support services to students at RSU 71, working with school personnel and designated agencies to assist students in resolving personal, emotional, and social challenges that affect their educational performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide designated support services to students
• Work with school personnel and designated agencies to help referred students
• Support students with social skills training and the development of pragmatic skills
• Participate as members of IEP teams
• Write goals and provide consultation

Requirements

• Maine State Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
• Experience with school-based counseling
• Current DOE Criminal Background Check Certificate

Qualifications

• Appropriate license and certification

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
