About the role

Provides social work services to psychiatric patients and their families, including consultation and collaboration with appropriate resource persons. Acts as primary therapist in the group treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to psychiatric patients and their families

• Act as primary therapist in the group treatment of patients
• Facilitate and/or participate in group therapy sessions

Requirements

• MSW from an accredited school of Social Work
• Minimum of two years clinical experience working in a psychiatric institution
• Experience facilitating and/or participating in group therapy sessions
• Excellent customer service skills

Qualifications

• LCSW required
• BLS required
• Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required upon hire/transfer (Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module must be completed within 30 days of hire/transfer if training was completed outside of Emanate Health)

Pay

$42.80 - $66.34 per hour
