Social Worker, Full-time

About the role

Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is hiring a Social Worker to work in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. In this position, you will assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluation of the overall operation of our Facility's Social Services department. You will ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as directed by the Administrator.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Social Services in Long Term Care
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Regulatory and compliance knowledge
