Social Worker for Inpatient Psychiatry (Wed-Sat days) (JR222773)

About the role

The Social Worker for Inpatient Psychiatry will provide direct clinical services to patients and families in the inpatient psychiatry unit. This position is available Wed-Sat days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families
• Assess patient needs and make referrals as necessary
• Document all clinical activities in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Current licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Ohio
• Experience working with psychiatric populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work preferred
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
• Experience with trauma-informed care

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
