About the role
A passionate Social Worker opportunity at our new 20-bed private hospital focused on improving behavioral health in the community. We provide psychiatric care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders such as cognitive illnesses. Our recently developed Intensive Outpatient Program serves both our patients and the community. As a Social Worker, you will be instrumental in providing quality patient care through social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. You will lead groups and work one-on-one with patients, participating in multidisciplinary treatment teams to improve patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Complete psychosocial assessments and treatment plans
- Lead individual, family, and group sessions
- Coordinate discharge and aftercare planning
- Support community outreach and education efforts
- Collaborate closely with clinical and medical teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited institution (required; other degrees will not be considered)
- One (1) year experience in an acute behavioral health setting (preferred)
