About the role
Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our team and help improve behavioral health in the community. We are an 18-bed psychiatric hospital providing care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders such as cognitive illnesses.
As a Social Worker, you will play a key role in delivering quality patient care, conducting social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. You will lead Primary Treatment Modalities, Group, Family, and Individual Therapies. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will also participate in community outreach programs, foster host-facility relationships, and provide education.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care through advanced social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
- Lead Primary Treatment Modalities, Group, Family, and Individual Therapies
- Participate in community outreach programs
- Build and maintain host-facility relationships
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of social work or membership in the Academy of Certified Social Workers
- Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year
- At least one (1) year of experience in an acute behavioral health setting (preferred)
