Social Worker - Bereavement - Full-time Capital/Columbia Greene Region

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders
• Provide specialized bereavement therapy for individuals, couples and families
• Provide specialized bereavement group therapy for people of all age ranges
• Participate as a grief counselor one weekend a year in a pediatric grief camp
• Conduct initial intake with bereaved clients
• Assist with community education and outreach
• Assist with community crisis responses as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work is required
• NYS LMSW licensure is required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical, Psychiatric, or Health Care setting

Pay

Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.08. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
