Social Worker

Responsibilities

1. Interact professionally and with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and physical abilities.
2. Maintain and enhance knowledge of the Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric populations through educational opportunities and meet expectations set forth by State licensure, Hospital and departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
• Experience: Consistent with LICSW licensure requirements.
• Licensure: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an "endorsement" and meet the State of Rhode Island license requirements.
• Special Skills: Ability to perform independently and provide clinical social work practice in a health care setting. Computer experience and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry systems.
