Position: Social Worker, LMSW
About the role
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker to provide clinical support to individuals enrolled in our Career Access Program. The Clinician will play a critical role in supporting participants' emotional well-being, addressing mental health concerns, and ensuring their success in the program.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients in the Career Access Program.
- Assess and address mental health concerns that may impact the client's ability to engage in vocational training and rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to support clients preferred.
- Work closely with the certified rehabilitation counselor, economic empowerment specialists, and other program staff to ensure holistic client support.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling.
- Currently licensed (LMHC or LMSW).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical counseling services, with a preference for experience in vocational rehabilitation or working with individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience in counseling, mental health support, and working with individuals with disabilities.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to support clients preferred.
